Dr. Bright Okyere Vandyke (BSc., OD., MBA, CertIEH (LSHTM))
Dr. Bright Vandyke Okyere is the Founder and Medical Director of Anidaso Eye Centre, an eye health social enterprise that provides quality and affordable eye care services in the Eastern region of Ghana.

Dr. Vandyke as he is affectionately called had his undergraduate training at the University of Cape Coast with a Bachelor of Science degree in Ophthalmic Sciences and a Doctor of Optometry Degree. He has an Executive Certificate in Business Administration from Accra Business School and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) specializing in Impact Entrepreneurship and Innovation from the E4IMPACT Accelerator Program which is a joint project between Catholic University of Milan, Italy and University of Professional Studies, Accra aimed at raising 21st Century entrepreneurs in Africa. He is a Peter Ackland Scholar with Certificates in International Eye Health and Planning and Managing of Eye Care Services from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (LSHTM) in collaboration with Peek Vision Foundation.

Dr. Vandyke is passionate about eye care and committed to strengthening eye care in Africa through education, consultancy services and research. He worked with a number of hospitals in Ghana before his appointment as a lecturer at Mzuzu University where he helped train optometry students. Through his startup called Wezi Ophthalmics Ltd, he has assisted over 116 health facilities to set up eye clinics in Africa. Dr. Vandyke has interests in innovative and sustainable eye care and believes that Anidaso Eye Centre will become a blue print for eye health startups in Africa and beyond.
